New Zealand eventers have been on the podium in England and France over the weekend.

Clear rounds in both the cross country and showjumping have led to a solid win by Jesse Campbell and Shadow Sister in the CCI3*-L at the Aceva Lignieres International Horse Trials in France.The combination finished on their 28.3 penalty point dressage score with Helen Bates (GBR) aboard Carpe Diem second on 29.4 and Nicolas Touzaint (FRA) with Calipsso de L’illon third with 29.8 in the 72-strong class which saw 44 complete the three tests.

Caroline Powell and Greenacres Special Cavalier were third in the CCI3*-L at the Osberton International and Young Horse Championships. The Kiwi combo finished on their 32.7 penalty point dressage score, with winner Kevin McNab (AUS) and Scuderia 1918 Humphreys on 27.7. Ginny Thompson and Capitaine de Hus Z were sixth with a score of 34.2 in the 120-strong class.

Samantha Lissington and Uvera Z were sixth in the CCI1*-S five-year-old, finishing on their 30.8 penalty point dressage score. The 34-strong class was won by John-Paul Sheffield (GBR) aboard Cathmore Fusion on 26.4. Samantha was also 10th in the CCI3*-S young horse championship aboard Senor Crocodillo on 35. Stephen Heal (GBR) and Quidam de Lux headed home the 56-strong field with a score of 26.7.
