I have a lifetime of involvement with horses and eventing. Growing up in a horse keen family, i was a member of Papatoetoe Pony Club in Auckland and represented Manukau District and Auckland Area at Pony Club Dressage, Jumping and Eventing Champs. I won the NZ Equine Scholarship to Marcus Oldham College in 1999 and from there groomed for Stuart Tinney at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Philip Dutton, in the US and then Joe Meyer in the UK. Through my Administration and Management career I held roles with Ideal Buildings, Ideal Buildings Christchurch and Portabuild before landing my ‘Dream’ job as Eventing Sport Manger in 2011. I live and work from home in Ardmore, South Auckland, I have two children, 7 and 4, the eldest is now riding at Papatoetoe Pony Club.
