Jody Hartstone specialises in teaching the science of Learning Theory
(how the horse learns) and holds a Diploma in Equitation Science.  
Jody is a Grand Prix dressage rider with many National Titles to her
credit and has been a very successful Derby rider internationally with
wins in Australia and South Africa as well as in New Zealand.  Jody is a
former Rider Representative on the Board of the International Society
for Equitation Science.  She is the only New Zealander to have presented
(jointly with Dr Andrew McLean) at the Global Dressage Forum in The
Netherlands.  Her specialist areas are ground work, young horses,
problem horses and dressage to all levels.  She enjoys coaching children
and adults alike, and all levels and stages.  Jody is an avid hunter and also
teaches jumping and resolves jumping issues such as fear of water trays/
napping/rearing.
