Congratulations to Denise Rushbrook, ESNZ’s October 2021 Volunteer of the Month!
ESNZ’s Eventing Sport Manager Eliza Johns, when asked if she had a nomination for October’s ESNZ Volunteer of the Month, said Denise Rushbrook popped into her head. Eliza said “Denise is a very worthy recipient of this recognition”.
Denise has run the events at the Taupō NEC for Eventing on behalf of the NEC for about five years and is basically a one woman band! Denise is the organising committee, secretary, course designer and also a rider.
There are three mid-winter express events followed by three spring horse trials all run by Denise and her small team of helpers.
Denise, you, along with all our volunteers, are what makes our sport thrive and for that we are immensely grateful. Thank you!
