World no.2 eventer Tim Price is at the front of both the CCI4*-S and CCI3*-S (section B) at the Barbury International Horse Trials in the UK.

It’s still a Kiwi quinella in the 4* with Tim and his Tokyo-bound horse Vitali first on 25.6 and the King of Barbury Andrew Nicholson with Swallow Springs in second on 27.7. Andrew is also in sixth place aboard Monbeg Exclusive on 30.6 in the 65-strong class.

Tim and Chio 20 lead the 3* on 24.8 penalty points with Jonelle Price and McClaren in fifth on 28.6, ninth aboard Coup de Coeur Dudevin on 29.2 and 17th with Tomochichi in the 63-strong class. Ginny Thompson and Star Anise II are just inside the top 20 in the CCI3*-S (section C).

There are a number of Kiwi combinations in the national classes as well which include Andrew Nicholson and Erin who have taken out first place in the Novice overnight.
