The opening ceremony for the Olympic Games is less than two weeks away on Friday 23 July 2021 and it is all systems go! There have been many challenges faced on the journey to Tokyo 2020, and it has now been announced that with the current Covid situation in Japan, there will be no spectators at any of the venues in Tokyo. This is of course disappointing, but it is also the only way that the Games can go ahead and allow our athletes – human and equine – the opportunity to display their undeniable talents to an unprecedented worldwide television audience.
