Dear ESNZ members and dressage enthusiasts ,
As you may know, at the recent Dressage Tauranga AGM, the election of officers resulted in the Dressage Tauranga Branch club not having any one step forward for the President and Vice President as well as other various roles such as sponsorship manager. The current secretary is acting in a caretaker role and will stand down at the SGM
As President of Bay of Plenty Dressage, I have stepped forward as acting President until Dressage Tauranga hosts a Special General Meeting on Thursday 13th of August at Oasis Bar, Greerton. I will Chair the SGM on behalf of the group.
This meeting will decide whether Dressage Tauranga has a future, as the group is unable to function without the key positions filled. If the key positions remain unfilled after the SGM Dressage Tauranga will have no option but to go into recess.
Due to this possibility, all planned events have been put on hold until positions are filled.
If you want to be part of a Dressage Group in Tauranga and continue to have access to local events, it is vitally important that you attend this SGM and even more important that you put up your hand to fill one of these key positions.
