Samantha McIntosh and her team have been solid at the 2020 Vilamoura Atlantic Tour in Portugal. James S was a particular star, winning the CSI3* 1.40m class, heading home 66 other combinations. The Kiwi combo were double clear in 40.42 seconds with Harry Marshall (IRL) and Kingdom Come in second with a time of 41.85 seconds. They were the only two double clears.

James was also eighth in the CSI3* 1.45m two phase, ninth in the CSI3* 1.45m two phase and 11th in the CSI3* 1.4m. Check In 2 placed 15th in the 75-strong CSI3* 1.45m.

Daniel Meech picked up a couple of minor placings with Hi-5 and Faith 13 at the CES Valencia Spring Tour in Spain.

In Germany, Tom Tarver and Popeye placed eighth in the 1.45m Grand Prix. Forty-four started the class with 10 going through to the jump off where the top seven were all double clear and Tom had a four-fault 37.26-second round. The class was won by Hans-Thorben Ruder (GER) aboard Singu in 36.74 seconds.
