Clean and clear cross country rounds from Tim Price, Caroline Powell and Jesse Campbell have seen the Kiwi trio all move up the leaderboards at the FEI Eventing World Breeding Championships at Mondial du Lion in France.

Tim and Happy Boy have moved up from 13th to eighth in the CCIYH3*-L for seven-year-olds, remaining on their dressage score of 30.1 penalty points. Yasmin Nathalie Sanderson (NOR) and Inchello DHI remain in the lead on 26.3. Just four combinations have slipped off the 42-strong leaderboard.

In the CCIYH2*-L for six-year-olds Caroline and Greenacres Special Cavalier moved from 14th to 12th on 32.4, Jesse and Global Candy Boy from 17th to 16th on 33.4 and Caroline aboard Rock Midnight from 32nd to 23rd on 36.

Tom McEwen (GBR) and Brookfield Benjamin Bounce have slipped past dressage leader Josephine Schnaufer (GER) aboard Viktor 107, to head the pack on 27.2 penalty points. Sixty of the 67-strong field remain in contention at the end of cross country day, with three retirements, three eliminations and one withdrawal.
