Waitaki Endurance & CTR Club put on a Stunner of a ride.

The Waitaki Endurance and CTR club put on a stunner of a ride this weekend at Woodvale Road, Mayfield. The course was a mix of roadside and farmland with some absolutely fantastic scenery following alongside the RDR (Rangitata Diversion Race) and through the property of member Danielle McKenzie and husband Fraser & other landowners Harley and Nerelle Davies.

All landowners were so amazing and generous having moved stock to allow us to ride without having to open a single gate.

The weekend ran like clockwork thanks to the hardworking officials Wendy Farnell and Kevin James, Vet India Martin and the fantastic helpers made up of landowner Danielle and Wendy’s family John Farnell, Paul Cross, Stephen and granddaughter Trinity. You guys all rock!

A total of 58 competitors enjoyed this awesome ride over the weekend. I’m picking there will be a heap more next year!

Waitaki have always been a friendly club and the hospitality over the weekend is a very small taste of what this amazing club have in store for us at Nationals 2020 over Easter.
