Jesse Campbell and Amsterdam II sit well in touch with the leaders in the CCI4*-L at the SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials after the first day of dressage.

Will Rawlin (GBR) and VIP Vinnie lead the field on a score of 24.2 penalty points with Jesse and Amsterdam in 11th spot on 29.6 and Andrew Nicholson aboard Andrea BT4 in 17th equal on 31.7. They were the only Kiwis in the 42 combinations to go today with the second half of the field going overnight.

In the CCI4*-S for eight and nine-year-old horses, Tim Price and Senza Fine are in ninth on 33 penalty points. Piggy French (GBR) and Calling Card lead on 26.7 with 32 of 66 combinations having completed their dressage.
