The Kiwis are underway at the Millstreet International Horse Trials. World no. 1 Tim Price and Xavier Faer sit in eighth spot in the CCI4*-S with 27 of the 56 combinations in the class having completed their dressage. Tim and the 10-year-old Xavier Faer scored 30 penalty points with the leader Ludwig Svennerstal (SWE) and Bally Quantos on 24.7. Tim has yet to compete aboard Falco who will be up early in the field this evening.

Jonelle Price is the best of the New Zealand combinations in the CCI3*-S, sitting in seventh place aboard Curly Girl on 30.9 penalty points. Husband Tim in two spots back on Emotion II with a 31 penalty point effort. Millie Dumas (GBR) and Universal Cooley leads the pack on 27.2. Thirty-two of the 66-strong field have completed their dressage.

The draw for the 30-strong CCI4*-S Event Rider Masters sees Lucky Jackson and Superstition 15th to go, with Jesse Campbell and Amsterdam 21 19th and Tim Price aboard Wesko 22nd. The ERM dressage gets underway on Saturday (NZ time).
