New Zealand showjumpers Sharn Wordley and Uma O’Neill have both been in good form overnight at events in the United States and Canada.

Uma and her stallion Clockwise of Greenhill Z placed fourth in the Atco Challenge 1.45m at the CSI5* Spruce Meadows this morning. They were one of nine to come back for the jump-off in the 45-strong class where they were all clear, coming home in 42.87 seconds. Spence Smith (USA) and Houston took the win in 39.44 seconds.

Birthday boy Sharn and Casper have placed third in the FEI $72,000 1.50m Welcome Stakes at the CSI4* in Tryon, USA. Just eight of the 46 starters came back for the jump-off where Sharn and Casper kept their slates clean to stop the clock at 38.902 seconds. Todd Minkus and Amex Z won the class with their 36.242 second effort.
