The ESNZ Eventing board has been humbled by the support received from both within and outside of the sport to ensure the fast-approaching New Zealand National Three Day Event and Oceania Championships will be a super success.
Board members have rolled up their sleeves to organise the event with assistance to secure the necessary funding coming from further afield including riders, their families, equestrian businesses, Taupo businesses, Taupo District Council and many other volunteers who have all dug deep to assist the event in a multitude of ways.
Key sponsors came in at very short notice and many equine-focused businesses have been generous with their donation of products and services.
ESNZ Performance Programme riders have individually sponsored cross-country jumps in recognition of the importance this competition is to their sporting careers. Most of New Zealand’s international and Olympic eventers have won at Taupo before heading offshore to compete on the world stage.
The ESNZ Eventing Board would like to recognise and thank the following sponsors and supporters: DVS Home Ventilation, NRM, Fiber Fresh Feeds, Wairakei Resort, Stirling Collection, Taupo Veterinary Centre, Southern Lakes Tartan, Bates Saddles, Taupo District Council, Taupo Airport, Landcorp, Huka Honda, Reyna Equestrian, OJZ Promotions, Bayleys, Ingham Hyundai, Magnum Industries, PGG Wrightson, IRT, NZ Rubber Solutions, HUS Design Store, the Johnstone and Crowe Families, Richard Otto, Tinks Pottinger, Gee Davison and Bryan Philpott.
As well as those that have supported the event financially there are those who volunteer countless hours of their time to ensure its smooth running. To put on an event like this it takes more than 200 volunteers alongside a big team of officials who receive next to no renumeration for their time, passion and expertise. The board thanks them all profusely.
Supporters of eventing and the New Zealand Three Day Champs who would like to make a donation to help support this event can do so by contacting Eliza Johns via email firstname.lastname@example.org
