It was a great 2019 Sydney CDI for NZL. Four riders competed in 16 tests and 15 of those were a top 10 finish

Wendi Williamson competed in the Grand Prix CDI 3* with Don Amour and was agonizingly close to pulling off two wins, but had to settle for 2nd behind Rozzie Ryan and Jarrah R in both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle, plus a fourth place in the Grand Prix  Special. A  great result from this horse still relatively young in Grand Prix years at just eleven years old. Performances highlighted that NZL riders can certainly match it with the best on offer in the Australian scene. Wendi also was the guest rider for the Young Dressage Horse Championships so all in all, rode 10 horses at the event!

Victoria Wall and Letty Lei EDH are relative newcomers to Grand Prix level and how well they did to finish 5th in the Grand Prix and 7th in the Freestyle.

Holly Leach and HP Fresco won the NSW Young Dressage Horse Championship for seven year olds – what a young star  he has proven to be

Wendi William also competed Judith and Peter Matthews Decadance MH – this horse has its first INT I start at this event so stepped up very capably. They finished 13th in the PSG, 8th in the Int I and 9th in the Int I Freestyle  (photo credit Amy-Sue Alston)
