It is with great pleasure that ESNZ Eventing announces the appointment of Raewyn Eastwood to the Eventing Board.

As a life time fan of eventing Raewyn is delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Eventing as a board member.  Raewyn’s professional career of 20+ years spans a broad management skill set of consulting, strategic planning, project, programme and change management in organisations such as Deloitte, Telecom, ANZ and Massey University and she describes her passion as building an organisation’s capability through it’s people. Raewyn started eventing in her thirties at the grassroots level and has involved herself with Eventing Wairarapa’s organising committee, running clinics and serving as Cross Country Convenor amongst other roles.  Raewyn was highly successful in raising funds for the build of the new cross country courses when they moved to their current home ground at Clareville. Raewyn lives with her family and horses on a lifestyle block in Palmerston North.

Raewyn has currently been selected to fill the  elected position that became vacant in the second half of 2018. This position, and one other elected board position, will be up for rotation in 2019, in accordance with ESNZ Eventing by-laws. Nominations for these will be advertised in due course.
