With its new October date, the countdown is on to the beginning of the South Island Three Day Event 2018.
Fantastic sponsorship means that riders will be competing for a prize pool of over $27,000, with South Island Three Day Event Championship Titles and the National Young and Junior Rider Three Day Event Championship Titles also up for grabs.
The Event kicks off on the 11th October with a Black Tie Charity Auction for Catwalk on the Thursday Evening. Amazing auction items are up for grabs including a Helicopter ride, Stallion service fees, Autographed WEG memorabilia, Getaway packages, and a custom made surfboard to name a few. Ticket sales end Monday 1st October, so don’t miss out.
Ground improvements to the Cross Country, new jumps and a dedicated jump decorating crew as well as a Cross Country jump decorating competition will ensure that Saturday’s Cross Country is a sight to be seen and admired.
With classes for CNC65cm-CCI3*, special awards and spot prizes, this event has something for everyone. If you considered entering but missed the close of entries, there is good news. Late entries will be accepted for a limited time.
There will be a great selection of Trade Stands, Food Stalls and entertainment for the kids and the whole family, plus the opportunity to watch some of New Zealand’s top Event Riders and Horses in action.
