Sir Mark Todd and Leonidas II are in third place at the end of the CICO3* dressage at Le Grand Complet in Haras du Pin, France.

The Kiwi combo scored 27.6 penalty points, just behind leader Maxime Livio (FRA) and Pica D’or who sit on 26.4, with Andreas Ostholt (GER) and So is Et in second on 26.9. McClaren is mid-field with his 34 penalty point effort. It’s a big class with 107 combinations chasing glory, with marks spanning 26.4 through to 47.4. Hosts France are just .6 ahead of Germany in the FEI Nations Cup competition.

Dusk til Dawn is in ninth equal in the CCI2* with his 31 penalty point score. Victor Levecque (FRA) and RNH MC Ustinov lead the field on 27.3.

Andrew Nicholson is the best of the Kiwis in the CIC3* at the Hartpury International Horse Trials. He and Swallow Springs sit in 18th spot on 29 penalty points with Tim Price and Falco right behind him on 29.3.Kitty King (GBR) and Ceylor L A N lead the 96-strong pack on 22.3. Jonelle Price and Classic Moet scored 32.2, Andrew and Teseo notched 32.4, Andy Daines and Spring Panorama 35 and Ginny Thompson with Star Nouveau 35.5.

In the CCI2*, Andrew and Andrea BT4 sit in 5th place on 31.7 at the end of the dressage, with Jesse Campbell and Diachello II two back on 32.1. Aoife Clark (IRL) and Calling Card are at the front of the 57-strong field on 27. Andrew and Zacarias scored 35.3, Bruce Haskell and Amiro Sky picked up 36.2, Tim Rushbridge aboard Peaky Blinder 36.7 and Dan Jocelyn and Fjury scored 42.1.

Jesse is the best of the Kiwi bunch in the CCI1* with his 28.2 penalty point effort aboard Morning Fawlty which sees them sit in fifth place in the 84 entries at the end of the dressage. Dan and Duke of Champions scored 36.5.
