2018 AGA – formal notice

The 2018 Annual General Assembly will take place on Tuesday 9 October in Wellington at the West Plaza Hotel.

We would like to advise all members of the upcoming 67th Annual General Assembly of Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) and invite all with a vested interest to join the occasion.

Date: Tuesday 9 October
Time: 12.45pm – AGA Registrations
  1.00pm – Annual General Assembly
  3.00-5.00pm – ESNZ Board meeting
Venue: West Plaza Hotel, Wellington

The AGA will consider formal business including approval of the audited annual accounts, presentation of the Pilmer Plate and any Honorary Life Memberships to be conferred as well as the election of the President and Vice-President.

ESNZ looks forward to welcoming Members to the Annual General Assembly.  The AGA is an opportunity for you to meet and talk with people governing your sport in person, so please take the opportunity to come along and be involved.

WORKSHOPS

ESNZ will be running workshops to coincide with the AGA.

Dr Stephen Kara of Axis Sports Medicine will be presenting our Concussion workshop, 1pm, Monday 8 October.  West Plaza, Wellington.  Officials, Coaches, First Aiders and Organising Committee members are urged to attend this informative workshop, which will be free of charge.  Register here

Graeme Nahkies of Boardworks will be presenting a workshop on Governance Training, 9am Tuesday 9 October.  West Plaza, Wellington.  Current Discipline Board members, as well as aspiring Board members are invited to attend this invaluable workshop, also free of charge.  Register here

Morning and Afternoon tea provided each day and lunch will also be offered on the Tuesday, at the West Plaza Hotel.
