Equestrian Sports NZ is on the hunt for a person to join our team asap. We need someone who can handle a million things at once, is a clear and calm communicator and skilled in using Microsoft Office, databases and IT. The role is a fixed term part time so there is some flexibility to fit in with any and everything else. 

This is a key role in Equestrian Sports NZ (ESNZ). You will provide administrative support to the General Manager, the ESNZ board and you will work closely alongside other staff in our Wellington office to ensure our members receive a high quality, accurate and professional service.

The primary focus of the role is to provide executive secretarial and administrative support to the ESNZ General Manager and the ESNZ Board, including preparation of Board papers, agendas, full meeting minutes and summaries for our website and helping to organise the Annual General Assembly. You will take ownership of this role and be willing to put your hand to any task.

Experience in equestrian sports at competition level is desirable but not essential – we have trained non-horsey people before! And the desire to work with a great team coupled with a can-do helpful attitude is more important to us.

Ideally, you need to be able to start as soon as possible – like yesterday! But again, we will work with the successful applicant on this. The role is situated in the Wellington office with a great team of supportive, equestrian experts.
