Tim Price and Cekatinka sit comfortably in third place in The Irish Field CCI3* at the Tattersalls International Horse Trials in Ireland.

It is just their second CCI3* start and with a 27.4 penalty point score, is most certainly a personal best at this level. The combination won the CCIO3*-NC at Boekelo last year and just recently were fifth in the CIC3* Event Rider Masters in Wiesbaden.  Alex Hua Tian (China) and Don Geniro lead the 43-strong field on 24.6.

Blyth Tait and Dassett Courage and the next best of the Kiwis in 18th spot on 33.3, with Lucy Jackson and Superstition on 33.7, Price aboard Up in the Air on 34.1, Dan Jocelyn aboard Grovine de Reve on 35.3 and Tait on his second mount Leo Distinction on 36.2.

The dressage in the George Mernagh Memorial CIC3* gets underway this evening, with the Eventing Ireland CCI2* continuing also. New Zealand has entries in both classes.
