Samantha McIntosh and her new horse Alaid de Chez Nous have finished their CSIO5* at St Gallen with an eighth place in the Prize of the City of St Gallen and the Canton St Gallen Accumulator.

The class was won by Martin Fuchs (SUI) and Cristo who accumulated 65 points in 55.02 seconds. McIntosh came home with 56 points in 62.45 seconds. She was also 25th aboard Estina.

Joining the team at St Gallen today was the NZ Ambassador to Switzerland Dr David Walker and his wife who had an enjoyable day meeting everyone and learning more about Showjumping.

Meanwhile in Belgium Lisa Cubitt has had a great outing at the CSI2* in Moorsele, with a ninth place finish in the 1.5m grand prix aboard her Nations Cup horse RLE Legoland. She and RLE Legoland were also third in the 1.4m earlier in the show and she had a win aboard Encore in the 1.35m, in which she was also fifth on Loughnavatta Cedar.
