New Zealand showjumpers continue to bask in the success of its FEI Nations Cup win in Abu Dhabi with another invite, this time to the Nations Cup in St Gallen in Switzerland.
Just last month it was announced the FEI had awarded New Zealand a wild card entry to the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Rome, which is running May 23-27.
The invitation to the Swiss Nations Cup, being held May 31-June 3, is an invitation from the event organisers.
ESNZ high performance operations manager Warrick Allan says it is an exciting opportunity for New Zealand showjumpers. “We are starting to get more and more of these invitations and it just shows what a little success can bring,” he says. “The timing is ideal as we are building up to FEI World Equestrian Games where we plan to have a showjumping team.”
Teams for the two Nations Cups will be announced closer to the time.
